Sesame Yogurt Dressing with Tahini and Ginger

- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 - 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar light
- 1 tbsp agave syrup or honey
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds + extra for garnishing
- 1 dl (about ⅖ cup)Turkish or Greek yogurt
- 3,5 tbsp cooking cream
- 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 - 2 tsp lemon juice
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the tahini, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, agave syrup, yogurt, and cooking cream until smooth.
Add the minced ginger and toasted sesame oil and mix well.
Lightly crush the toasted sesame seeds using a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon, then stir them into the dressing.
Add the lemon juice, if using, and taste.
Mix until creamy and well combined. Serve as a salad dressing or dipping sauce.
Adjust sweetness with additional agave syrup if needed.
Thin with additional cream if you prefer a more pourable dressing. Taste and adjust sweetness, salt, or acidity as needed.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
