Sesame Yogurt Dressing with Tahini and Ginger

Bowl of creamy sesame yogurt dressing garnished with toasted sesame seeds, ready to serve.

Sesame yogurt dressing is a creamy, tangy sauce made with tahini, yogurt, soy sauce, ginger, and toasted sesame oil. Lightly sweetened with agave syrup and finished with toasted sesame seeds, this versatile dressing works as a salad topping, dipping sauce, or drizzle for grilled spicy fish, chicken, and vegetables. It also pairs wonderfully with lettuce wraps, bowls, and roasted vegetables, adding rich flavor with minimal effort.

Why This Sesame Yogurt Dressing Works

II make this dressing often because it is simple and versatile. First, tahini gives it a rich, nutty base. Next, yogurt adds creaminess and a light, fresh flavor that balances the richness. Ginger adds a gentle warmth and brightness, while soy sauce and a touch of toasted sesame oil bring depth and subtle savory notes.

A little agave syrup adds sweetness, and crushed toasted sesame seeds provide texture and a slight crunch. Each ingredient plays a role, creating a dressing that is flavorful, balanced, and easy to enjoy with salads, grilled meats, vegetables, or lettuce wraps.

How to Use Sesame Yogurt Dressing

This dressing is incredibly versatile. Drizzle it over leafy greens, roasted vegetables, or grilled foods for an instant flavor boost. It also works beautifully as a dipping sauce for vegetables and makes a delicious addition to lettuce wraps.

In lettuce wraps, it provides creamy richness while letting the other ingredients shine. For a finishing touch, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. They add texture and make the dish look even more inviting.
